ISLAMABAD, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and six others injured in two coordinated attacks in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Thursday night, police said.
The first blast happened when a car hit a land mine in Harnai area of the province, injuring two people on board, police sources from the province told Xinhua.
Following the explosion, people rushed to the car to help the victims, when the second blast triggered off by a remote-controlled device took place, the sources said.
Two people were killed and four others injured in the second blast, police said, adding that a hunt for the perpetrators of the attack is underway.
All the injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital, with two of them in critical condition.
Police did not reveal the identities of the people on board the car. However, all the victims in the second blast were passersby civilians.
