FRANKFURT, June 10 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed almost flat on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 9.92 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 15,571.22 points.
The energy division of Siemens Group, Siemens Energy, lost 2.37 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by automotive manufacturer BMW and energy group RWE, which lost 1.85 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained 2.20 percent, becoming the top gainer. Telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom and multinational software corporation SAP advanced by 1.78 percent and 0.85 percent respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most traded share with a turnover of 206.27 million euros (251.11 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 1.50 percent to close at 1.778 euros per share on Thursday.
